What is Thai Yoga Massage?

Thai Yoga Massage is a form of bodywork that has been practiced in Thailand for over two thousand years.  Thai massage uses a combination of accupressure, energy meridian work and yoga stretching for an invigorating and balancing experience. Stretching and compression is used in gentle rhythmic movements to ease stress and tension from the body, while creating space within the muscles and joints to allow for greater freedom of movement.

How does it work?

Thai massage is different from many forms of massage in that no oil or table is used.  The therapist uses a massage mat on the floor, the client remains completely clothed throughout the session.  It is often described as having someone "do yoga to you".
